Dustin Weinstein, a 20-year-old sophomore at Montclair State University, said he wanted 2 help the New Jersey blood drive since it's been crying out 4 donors. But he was turned away last November at a Red Cross blood drive on campus. The rationale 4 the ban, according 2 the FDA website, is men who have had sex with other men account 4 the largest single group of blood donors who are found HIV positive by blood-donor testing. By eliminating that group, the risk of transmitting HIV is diminished, the report said.
Okay, so I really wonder if the FDA has statistical facts 2 prove that most HIV tainted blood comes from gay men, because if not, they're going 2 have a price 2 pay 4 lying. I personally gave blood 2 a blood drive at my Alma mater years ago, and I was shocked 2 find out that 85% of the blood had 2 be thrown out due 2 HIV infection. However, the majority of the tainted blood came from heterosexual people, not gay people. So the misconception that AIDS is a gay thing is a bunch of baloney. If they want 2 get technical, we can go back when AIDS was 1st reported by the Center 4 Disease Control in 1981. Rumors about where AIDS came from began 2 circulate like wildfire. 1st it was told 2 us that monkeys brought AIDS over 2 America from Africa, then we were told that AIDS came from homosexuals (mostly men), and this rumor stuck because of the already HUGE prejudice against gay people.
I've done my research on where AIDS really came from, and although I find this 2 be a touchy and controversial topic this is what I have discovered. In 1969, George H.W. Bush explained 2 Congress how allegedly runaway birth-rates 4 African Americans were down-breeding the American population, (but if African Americans are Americans, how could they be down-breeding the American race?) Bush felt there needed 2 be something done in order 2 control the growth of the black race. On June 9, 1969, Dr. D.M. MacArthur, Deputy Director of Research and Technology 4 the Pentagon, requested a sum of $10 million from the Congressional House Subcommittee on Appropriations, in order 2 develop a new contagious micro-organsm capable of destroying the human immune system. But 1st the virus would have 2 be created. Thank you for your kind words. I have entertained the idea of the possibility that HIV/AIDS was introduced via a government agency, whether to eliminate the Afro-American race I have no clue, but it's an interesting and believable point. It was always my understanding that the disease started in the U.S., but from a nation wallowing in its own sexual freedom; the sexual revolution of the 1960's and 70's contributing to the formation and spread of the virus. In any case, I am continueing the fight against the FDA guidlines and am now in the process of piecing together plans for a second demonstration of a different nature. Thank you and God bless
